![]() ![]() I have the සිංහලා (Sinhala) Language pack installed. What is this feature and how do I get rid of it to type directly in Word? I've never seen this in any other program, including Excel 2010. in any program other than Word, after typing "සිංහලා" and nothing else, "හලා" disappears when I change back to English, just leaving "සිං". It seems related to an issue in Windows 10 that the last word/part of a word disappears when I change from Sinhala back to English, if I don't type a space, or move the cursor first. When I type "සිංහලා" ("Sinhala"), "සිං" is automatically "finalised" and appears in the document, then "හලා" ends up in the box. There is a green left-downwards pointing arrow to "Finalise the string" (this text appears if you hover over the arrow). ![]() Some font families might include multiple fonts for different weights and styles.When typing in Sinhala in Word 2010, a tiny pop-up box appears in the top left corner (it can be moved anywhere else) with the last few keystrokes. To reduce the operating system footprint, improve performance, and optimize disk space usage, we moved many of the fonts that were previously shipped with prior versions of Windows to the optional features of Windows client.
